Candle Care and Safety
🕯️ CANDLE CARE & SAFETY
To enjoy your candle safely and get the best burn, please follow these guidelines:
First Burn
-
Allow the candle to burn until the entire top layer is melted (usually 2–3 hours)
-
This prevents tunneling and creates an even wax pool
Trim the Wick
-
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn
-
A long wick may cause:
-
Soot
-
High flame
-
Uneven burn
-
Burn Time
-
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
-
Extinguish, let cool, and trim wick before relighting
Placement
-
Always burn on a heat-resistant surface
-
Keep away from:
-
Drafts
-
Curtains
-
Pets & children
-
Anything flammable
-
Never Leave Unattended
-
Stay nearby while burning
-
Extinguish before leaving the room or going to sleep
Container Safety
-
Candle jars can get hot
-
Do not move or touch while burning
-
Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom
Reuse or Recycle
When finished, clean the jar and reuse or recycle — great for:
-
Storage
